Sing Noel

What: The popular choral workshop series devoted to the music of Christmas. No previous choral experience is necessary. The music is simple but beautiful – choral settings of carols and ancient and modern texts, as well as unison and multi-voiced chants. The series culminates in the ChristmasFest performance.

When: TBA, please contact Barclay for more information. Typically they’ve been held Wednesday nights (except for the first Wednesday of each month), from ~September 21st to December 21st, 7:30-9:00pm.

Fee: $160

Cave chanting

What: “What an absolutely awesome day!” and “One of those lifetime events I will never forget!” Those exclamations are typical of the mail received from some of the hardy souls who came to chant in the spectacular Bonnechere caves on a sunny Saturday one year. More info is available at https://voiceemergent.com/workshops/cave-chanting/.

Relieve stress, soothe the body, stimulate the brain, have fun!

Body & Sound Workshop

What: This gentle one-day workshop advances themes introduced in Dance on Winds of Sound. In the group as a whole and with partners, we continue the exploration of the pervasive influence of vocal tone on the body. In this workshop, Barclay draws on his extensive training in “Resonant Kinesiology”, a system of educational bodywork developed by Susan Gallagher Borg of Burlington, Vermont.
